Prioritize not dying over max damage
Early waves teach spawn directions. Strafe more than you spray. A living ship with a modest score beats a flashy crash at wave three.
Orb paths beat greedy center camping
Energy orbs refill shields and enable boosts. Trace a shallow arc that grabs orbs while clearing edge spawners. Backtracking through bullets is how most new runs end.
Boss checklist
- Enter with shields above half if you can.
- Save a boost for the boss’s wide attack, not trash packs.
- Stay mobile on one axis so you can dodge telegraphs.
Practice routine (10 minutes)
Play three intentional short runs: (1) movement only focus, (2) orb collection focus, (3) boss attempt. Review the Tips section on the Orbit Strike page between runs.
